Big Col's Recruitment High Risk Trainer and Assessor; Andrew Davis has over 25 years in the Construction Industry from small to large organisations around Australia. Andrew has worked extensively throughout the construction and mining industries where he has built and maintained strong relationships with the workers he has trained and nurtured.

The mission of the Training area at Big Col's Recruitment is to serve as a provider of value-for-money services, a leader in Training; to the needs of the mining, construction and Transport and Logistics sectors and an enabler in helping organisations to embrace new practices and tools that enhance productivity at an affordable cost.

Our Training Strategy

  • The provision of the Training services is centralised in the Big Col's Recruitment within the Training and Construction Services Department, and led by our High Risk Trainer and Assessor (Andrew Davis) who reports to the Managing Director of Big Col's Recruitment.

Our vision for Training service delivery puts Training and WHS staff in roles that reflect their accountability for the achievement of business outcomes in partnership with their business counterparts. Big Col's Recruitment Training staff work with business to understand their needs, and manage the delivery of staff on-time and for a low budget. Staff serve in roles that manage the use of project resources, require institutional knowledge or a high degree of trust, and provide a rapid response and continuity in times of trouble.

These include; High risk licensing tickets; Basic scaffold, intermediate scaffold and advanced scaffold.

Forklift courses, National White Card, EWP Courses, Work Safely at Heights, Enter into a Confined space and OHS Competencies.

Is Your Company Compliant? Scaffold auditing service, external audits for both the builder and the scaffold companies to ensure the scaffold is up to Australian Standards after it has been erected or for your 30 day inspection, we are here to help.

Big Col's Recruitment Training can offer services in creating your onsite safety documents such as Safe Work Method Statements, Take 5's, Toolbox talk forms, tie registers or any other requirements required.
